I found yoga as a dancer. Yoga allowed me continue to move my body in a way where I could still experience the same freedom I received in my dancing without the competitive harshness that the dance scene provided.
Having found this reprieve I attended teacher training in 2007 at Cyndi Lee’s OM yoga Centre in NYC. In love with the inner peace dynamic Vinyasa yoga provided I became intrigued with the stillness of restorative yoga and attended Judith Lasater’s Teacher Training in 2011.
In 2014 I trained in Prenatal yoga at Triyoga and after having my daughter on the ‘longest day of the year’ in 2016 became a postnatal yoga teacher in 2017 through YogaBirth.
My alignment focused yoga classes are about getting my students to breathe and move mindfully. My sequencing asks that you be present in the moment, enjoy yoga and tune into your body while practicing in a safe way so both the body and mind can feel good.
I infuse each class with a different theme to lend one to dive deeper into understanding the power of yoga.
